Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Bookfront (“Bookfront”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Bookfront is a booking product that lets creators qualify prospects, answer questions, take payment, and schedule sessions from a single link, with AI-assisted prep briefs. We provide the platform; creators are responsible for the sessions they offer and the relationships with the people who book them.

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract to use Bookfront. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

• Provide accurate session details, pricing, and availability.
• Deliver the sessions you offer and handle your own communications with attendees.
• Comply with all laws that apply to your business, including consumer, tax, and privacy laws.
• Have a lawful basis to collect the intake information you ask attendees for, and handle that information responsibly.

Paid sessions are processed through Stripe, and creators must connect a Stripe account to receive funds. Bookfront charges a platform fee on paid bookings (currently 5%), disclosed at the time of the transaction.

Payments settle to the creator via Stripe; the contract for the session itself is between the creator and the attendee. Refunds, rescheduling, and cancellation outcomes are determined by the creator’s policies, subject to these Terms and Stripe’s rules. You also agree to Stripe’s terms when you use payments.

You agree not to:

• Use Bookfront for anything unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or infringing.
• Upload malware, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the service.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the service or other users’ data.
• Use the service to send spam or harass attendees or creators.

Bookfront integrates with third parties including Stripe (payments), Google (calendar), Anthropic (AI), and email delivery providers. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider’s terms, and we’re not responsible for third-party services we don’t control.

Bookfront and its software, design, and brand are owned by us and our licensors. You keep ownership of the content you provide, and grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it to operate the service. AI-generated prep briefs are provided for the creator’s use in preparing for a session.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that availability information, calendar sync, AI output, or the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookfront will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to us in the three months before the claim or US$100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Bookfront harmless from claims arising out of your content, your sessions, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using Bookfront at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We’ll revise the “updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bookfront is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
